Miya Bailey: It's the battles that we have to go through every day. The art form is dying, it's a dying art form! When you look at tattooing, you see a dying art form. Like hip-hop is dying right in front of your face, same with tattooing. Like how Jazz die and R&B die? Same going on with tattooing right now.
Me: Really?
MB: It's dying. Yeah man, it's because everybody is trying to be a tattoo artist and that's not how it goes.
Me: Oh, because everybody trying to be a tattoo artist. Because I was gonna say I don't see it dying. I see more people becoming covered in tattoos, like-
MB: Yeah, people being covered with TATTOOS!!!
Me: But the art of it is what's dying. Ok!
MB: See, tattooing is different, it's a verb. It's what you do. Not to get confused with tattoos. Like, did you ever hear someone say 'wow man, did you see that tattoo art on him?' No it's 'aw man, he tattooed up, he tatted up!'
Me: Haha, yeah, like tatt-tatt-tatted up! I got you.
MB: So yeah, see my goal is, with the same way folks go to a art gallery to see a painting, people should see bodies the same way.

I don’t know why I watch the first episode of every season, complain about the entire series and why it should be taken off the air, and then try to watch the second episode… I think I try to give shows like that another chance….
