I interviewed one of my all-time favorite reggae artists Sister Nancy (you know, that chick who made “Bam Bam”?) about her performance tomorrow at Five Spot in Atlanta for Reggae Legends Week. She was so adorable!
Plus, I interviewed Slick & Rose, two of the baddest hiphop/new wave chicks I know, and not because I don’t know that many, but because they’re actually pretty good!

My first article of the year is a benefit show for Ed Waller and Kari Smid. They’re member of Turbojugend and they were in a motorcycle accident with a police officer, and have been intensive care since October. This show is so they can pay the mortgage and bills, but the lineup is so sick you gotta read the article!
