Permalink Was at One Music Festival yesterday, which was just about everything my dream concert lineup would be like! I was helping photographer Carolyn Grady cover the festival for Black Vibes, and she got this photo of me interviewing the one and only Jason Orr of the Funk Jazz Kafe/documentary. (P.S. if you click her name, you’ll see all these cool photos from the show, including Pharcyde, Anthony David and Chrisette Michelle!) P.S.Again. Yes, the photo is sideways, but Tumblr won’t let me fix that! :-P
Permalink Arts Beats & Lyrics — It’s me!!! I got recruited by this guy to take a photo in front of a display at the annual hiphop arts showcase, and, lo and behold, it’s for a friend of mine for A3C! It was cool knowing someone who had their stuff on display for a show that big, so I had to take the picture w/ her work. I don’t know who did the picture of the turntable below, but shout out to Carolyn Grady and Rhythmic Images Photography for getting her’s!
